The Observatory Orange County is Orange County's premier live music venue, located at 3503 S Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana, CA. With a full buyout capacity of up to 1,700 guests, the venue offers a variety of seating configurations.
- Music Hall - General Admission Floor: For most concerts, the main floor is standing general admission in the tiered semicircle layout. We recommend the center floor for the most energetic experience closest to the massive stage.
- Elevated Rear Sections: Tiered elevated seating at the back provides a clear overhead view of the entire stage with less crowd density.
- VIP Lounge Area: A plush VIP area with reserved seating and premium amenities. The most comfortable way to enjoy a show at The Observatory.
- Festival Grounds (Outdoor): For larger events, the outdoor Festival Grounds adjacent to the venue accommodates additional attendees.
The venue features state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, ensuring an excellent audio-visual experience from virtually any position in the venue.
Parking Information
The Observatory offers its own on-site parking lot directly adjacent to the venue at 3503 S Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92704.
- The Observatory Parking Lot: Located immediately adjacent to the venue entrance at the intersection of West Lake Center Drive and S Harbor Blvd. The closest and most convenient parking option. Approximately $10/vehicle.
- Surrounding Lots and Street Parking: Additional parking available in the area around West Lake Center Drive, though limited as the venue is in a business/industrial zone.
We recommend arriving early to secure a spot in the main lot. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is a popular and convenient alternative for avoiding parking costs and hassle. Drop-off and pick-up available at the main entrance on S Harbor Blvd.
